COYA Ibiza
Serving up mouthwatering Peruvian-inspired cuisine on the golden sands of Playa d’en Bossa, COYA Ibiza is an Ibiza beach restaurant fusing traditional Latin American flavours with contemporary techniques for a delectable dining experience.
Replicating the spirit of Peru on the shores of the island’s longest beach, COYA Ibiza serves up decadent Latin American-inspired gastronomy matched with a lively ambience. Housed in the newly established hotel, BLESS Ibiza The Site, in Playa d’en Bossa, this Ibiza beach restaurant invites visitors and locals alike to embark on a voyage to another world where layered flavours, flamboyant mixology and refined beats go on into the early hours.
A day at COYA Ibiza begins on the sand, where plush sunbeds are lined up directly along the shoreline. Start by ordering a signature sangria blanca crafted with NEFT Vodka, fino sherry, verjus, elderflower, prosecco and topped with summer fruits. Alternatively, peruse the Ibiza beach restaurant’s extensive alcohol-free libations, such as the ice-cold Arcoiris made with 0% Puerto de Indias strawberry, raspberry and peach, or the Tesoro del Campo with Giffard Gold cane syrup, passionfruit, Red Bull Dragonfruit and prickly pear.
With the kitchen helmed by chef Daniele Corazza – under the direction of global executive chef Fabrizio Fossati – the dining scene at this Ibiza beach restaurant brings a menu bursting with the rich and diverse flavours of Peru. A tangy sea bream ceviche is prepared with aji de rocoto, leche de tigre, sweet potato and choclo; meat eaters will devour the Angus beef fillet, drizzled with COYA Ibiza’s own spicy glaze, crispy shallots and pickled chilli, while the miso Chilean sea bass cazuela (stew) is accompanied with bomba rice and chilli butter. Vegetarians and vegans are very well catered for with many of the COYA Ibiza signature flavours adapted through a more wellness-focused approach.
Seasonal specials are regularly introduced utilising carefully selected local ingredients while larger groups are presented with a set menu highlighting the restaurant’s most beloved dishes. Be sure to leave room for dessert such as the signature churros with milk chocolate and dulce de leche sauce; COYA Ibiza’s take on the classic tres leches cake, the heavenly COYA Sundae and the incredibly indulgent Dessert Platter for those who want to try a little bit of everything.
Escape the summer heat with a table in the Ibiza beach restaurant’s welcoming, shaded interior. Drawing inspiration from Incan folklore, the décor at COYA Ibiza boasts rustic textures and bold artwork tinged with Latin American influences. The music-led ambience is a key component of the brand’s mosaic, with Peruvian-inspired beats heightening the tableau, making it a unique venue for hosting special events and even exquisite weddings where guests are transported to a South American dreamworld.
The rooftop Pisco Bar at COYA Ibiza – open from June to October – provides the perfect spot to celebrate the magical Ibiza night. Built around pisco as its defining spirit, the cocktail programme here combines creativity and technique through signature cocktails and house made infusions. Sip an Agua de Chifa made with Belvedere, sesame pisco, tomato water, bell pepper, sriracha and topped with a rice cracker, or opt for the Pisco Highball prepared with COYA pisco, raspberry, citrus cordial, mint and rosemary soda. Should hunger strike, enjoy some of the Ibiza beach restaurant’s light bites such as the corn empanadas with wagyu, or ostras limeñas. End the night stargazing across the beach, as the last notes from the Pisco Bar drift out towards the sea.
