Born in Tulum, Mexico, Gön House of Healing has been divinely reimagined for its new Balearic outpost within Nômade Temple Ibiza in Portinatx. An 810-square-metre subterranean sanctuary inspired by the island’s hidden cave formations, the Ibiza wellness centre is open to those seeking restorative journeys for the mind, body and spirit. With a philosophy centred around the ancient healing properties of water, guests are encouraged to leave the weight of existence at the door and let the expert team of therapists and practitioners work their magic.

The softly lit Ibiza wellness space is dedicated to communal wellbeing and harmony, exuding a profound sense of serenity from the minute guests step through the door. Each and every space within Gön House of Healing has been designed to soothe the soul, encouraging a seamless flow of energy throughout the spa. Natural stone and organic textures are complemented by the sleek curves of modern architecture and a calming soundtrack, with the spa’s Water Therapy Area at the heart of the entire experience.

This thermal circuit features the dry heat of a sauna, the comforting warmth of a Hammam and a clarifying cold plunge. The deliberate contrast of heat and cold stimulates the circulation, soothes sore muscles, and restores much-needed balance to those who need it. Additional relaxation spaces at Gön House of Healing, such as The Waterflow Sanctuary, offer a warming mineral water floatation tank where external distractions melt away, plus sensory contrast showers to activate the body and regulate breathing. This part of the holistic Ibiza wellness journey concludes in the quiet of the recovery area where biohacking red-light panels, LED therapy, compression boots and pin-drop silence bring guests slowly back to self.
