Famous for its panoramic views across the sea and the towering monolith of Es Vedrá, 7Pines Resort Ibiza hosts one of the most anticipated culinary pop-ups of the season. Executive Chef Óscar Salazar has teamed up with chefs Hari Shetty and Ori Geller to bring their signature style to the island. As the founders of Nela in Amsterdam – soon to open in London too – this pair of globally renowned chefs have redefined the art of live-fire cooking. Now, hotel guests and visitors will get the chance to share in their vision at their new Ibiza fine dining collaboration, Nela Pop-Up with Óscar Salazar.

Nela means pure in Sanskrit and the concept was born from a desire to harness the elemental power of fire, coal and smoke. Known for its bold, grill-focused dishes and high-quality ingredients, this Ibiza fine dining pop-up blends precision technique with locally sourced produce, taking full advantage of the seasonal bounty of the Balearics from both land and sea. The result is an unpretentious yet flavourful fine dining experience where purity takes centre stage.

The Nela Pop-Up menu evolves with the season and is best perused with a cocktail in hand. Bright and refreshing or smoky and deep, each drink has been crafted to enhance the fiery aromas of the grill. Start with crunchy tubers served with green mojo and piri-piri salsa while you decide what to choose next. Among the entrees are a perfectly shucked oyster with fermented chilli and smoked oil and the delightfully playful chicken and coconut Thai doughnut. At this Ibiza fine dining restaurant, the famous Nela scallop is given a summery slant with the addition of grapefruit and blood orange while the yellowtail crudo comes with lemon truffle.

Choose a bottle from the exceptional wine list that includes crisp whites, blushing rosés and beautifully complex reds from Ibiza and Europe. Main dishes at Nela Pop-Up include octopus with butter beans, sirvia with Jerusalem artichoke confit and beurre blanc and the outstanding white prawns with garlic sofrito, pimentón de la Vera and crispy shells. Live-fire cooking enters another realm when dealing with delectable cuts of beef and freshly caught seafood at Nela Pop-Up. Melt-in-the-mouth slow cooked short ribs, ribeye and Wagyu are grilled to perfection, as is the half lobster with guajillo butter and mandarin, and more. Save room for dessert – the tiramisu is a must-try and the millefeuille with açaí and miso is a remarkable take on an Ibiza fine dining classic.
