Set on the golden sands of Cala Molí on the island’s southwest coast, El Silencio Ibiza became one of the island’s most in-demand beach clubs from the minute it opened its doors in 2021. Founded by Arnaud Frisch – owner and creator of the famed Parisian nightclub of the same name – the Ibiza beach restaurant is an oasis of laid-back elegance, designed as a place where local and global creatives could come together beneath the Balearic sun and stars to celebrate individuality, connection and freedom.

Made up of three unique spaces – the sandy-floored Ibiza beach restaurant, a retro-chic poolside area and a sunset listening bar and fine dining restaurant, Urusai IbizaEl Silencio Ibiza was designed by Balearic architecture firm Moredesign in homage to the island’s past. Ibiza’s golden sunlight streams into the restaurant through gnarled ancient Sabina beams, casting its dappled light on rustic wooden tables, oversized raffia pendant lamps and the soft, sandy floor. From lunchtime, through sunset, until the moon rises high above the sea, diners are invited to settle in and soak up the convivial ambience…

World-renowned Argentinian chef Mauro Colagreco (of Michelin starred restaurants Mirazur on the Côte d’Azur, and Ceto in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin) helms the El Silencio Ibiza kitchen. With a passion for open fire cooking, the lunch menu for the Ibiza beach restaurant is brimming with Mediterranean flavour and flair, ranging from mouth-watering vegetarian creations to the much-loved bluefin tuna belly tartare, giant pulpo, rich lobster pappardelle, fresh fish, succulent meats and the chef’s legendary churros – all complemented with an abundance of Ibiza’s local produce.

Of course, no day at an Ibiza beach restaurant is complete without a cocktail in hand, especially at the magical sunset hour over Cala Molí. There’s a certain je ne sais quoi to the cocktail menu at El Silencio Ibiza, pushing boundaries with flavours, creating surprises with unique ingredients and capturing a feeling in a glass is what Ibiza is all about.

There’s no finer Ibiza beach restaurant to while away the summer days and nights this season. El Silencio Ibiza is the proverbial somewhere over the rainbow – where the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true.
