Sitting within the space-age cacophony of colour that is Los Felices in Cala de Bou, Bambola di Grosso Napoletano has undoubtedly become the best Ibiza restaurant for pizza and more. A collaboration between Concept Hotel Group and GROSSO – crowned Best Artisan Pizza Chain in the World – this is where a pink neon glow and mid-century chic accompany the unmistakable scent of a wood-fired oven and gluten-free dining finally gets its moment.

Bambola di Grosso Napoletano is the first Ibiza restaurant dedicated entirely to gluten-free Neapolitan pizza, and it’s not just a fad. Certified by FACE (the Federation of Coeliac Associations of Spain), the GROSSO team obsessively perfected a dough that is light, chewy and baked to charred-edged perfection. No cross-contamination, no compromises. Before you get stuck in, take a moment to peruse the cocktail menu – perhaps starting with a classic St. Germain spritz or piña colada. For those forgoing alcohol, Bambola di Grosso Napoletano offers three creative booze-free cocktails and a selection of delectable smoothies.

Obviously, pizza is the main event, but you wouldn’t want to miss out on the moreish antipasti, especially with choices like vitello tonnato and provola affumicata. Now prepped to enter the Bambola di Grosso Napoletano pantheon of flavour, it’s time for pizza, Napoli style. You’ll find all the favourite classics at this Ibiza restaurantdiavola, prosciutto e funghi, and a traditional and smoked version of the Margherita – alongside a pie crafted especially for the island, the outstanding La Pagesa, topped with San Marzano tomato, wood-baked onion, stracciatella, honey and local sobrasada sausage.

As the saying goes, there’s always room for dessert and at Bambola di Grosso Napoletano, the dolci are almost a prerequisite. It’s a tough choice with highlights including tiramisu bianco, Nutella pizza, Sorrento al pistachio – limoncello and pistachio cream – and the indulgent albero da zia Lucy – Aunt Lucy’s famous semifreddo sprinkled with biscuit crumble. Every tasty morsel from the menu is served on dinnerware designed by local artist and gal-about-town Miranda Makaroff, further adding to the pizazz of this fabulous and fun Ibiza restaurant.

Don’t miss out on Wednesday night bingo with the queen of island drag, Lola Von Dage, hosting a raucous evening of numerical innuendos and merriment. Open to visitors and hotel guests, Bambola di Grosso Napoletano is a refreshing, laid-back addition to the Ibiza food scene. Good times, great food, hijinks and hilarity make this Ibiza restaurant perfect for date nights, post-beach cravings, late-night orders and long leisurely dinners with friends.
