
Hotel Mongibello launches its summer dinner series, Maestri al Fornelli, this summer – a celebration of bold flavours, slow evenings and deliciously collaborative cooking, hosted at Sorella Ristorante. Each edition brings together two chefs at once, with Hotel Mongibello’s own Francesco T. Leggio joined by special guests from the island and beyond.
The final event in the showcooking series takes place on Saturday September 27, 2025, and welcomes chef Teo Iannotta from Muiño de Rudiño restaurant in Pontevedra, who’ll be blending his signature ‘Cucina saudade‘ Galician and Italian approach to cooking with Leggio’s Sicilian roots. The four-hands dinner is 45€ per person (excluding drinks) and is designed to be shared and savoured. Expect a night that’s rich in heritage, flavour, technique and conversation – reservations are essential.
