Afterservice at Jara at The Standard, Ibiza
Select Monday nights in the winter months see the who’s who of the island’s talented hospitality community converge on The Standard, Ibiza, where a whole host of guest chefs, mixologists and DJs collaborate to create Afterservice at the hotel’s ground-floor restaurant, Jara, from 9pm until late. It’s the time of year they can indulge their creativity, as the summer work pace slows down and winter socialising picks up – expect to be treated to some of the best eats, sips and tunes of the off-season.
This month, on Monday November 23, 2026, guest chef Alberto Pérez Ruiz of S’Espardell hustles up stracciatella flatbread with baby gem lettuce, mint, red onion and lime, alongside Jara’s own version featuring smoked salmon, trout roe, asparagus and chive cream. Cocktail concoctions include the Payés & Famous with mezcal, Ibizan herbal liqueur, Aperol and lime, or a Gin Sour with cucumber, lime, agave and foam. With the spotlight shining brightly on the talented people who help shape the island’s thriving fine dining scene, that’s called starting the week right!
