Hotel Mongibello launches its summer dinner series, Maestri al Fornelli, this summer – a celebration of bold Italian flavours, slow evenings and deliciously collaborative cooking, hosted at Sorella Ristorante. Each edition brings together four chefs at once, with Hotel Mongibello’s own Francesco T. Leggio joined by special guests from the island and beyond.
The first event in the showcooking series welcomes Iker Llona of Palosanto Ibiza, blending his signature Mexican approach with Leggio’s Sicilian roots. The four-hands dinner is 45€ per person (excluding drinks) and the menu includes light bites such as mini yellowtail carpaccio, tuna tostadas with miso and japapeño, crispy prawn tacos with burrata and basil pesto, creamy porcini mushroom risotto with foie gra and duck prosciutto and more (including desserts), all designed to be shared. Expect a night that’s rich in heritage, technique and conversation – reservations are essential.
