In-Between Ibiza presents Aline de Laforcade and Maija Carr Exhibition at The Giri Café
Two artists, one deep connection to Ibiza’s soul. Dalt Vila’s favourite gallery space, In-Between Ibiza, takes one of its shows on the road and presents the work of Aline de Laforcade and Maija Carr at The Giri Café in San Juan. The joint exhibition explores the textures of heritage, nature and instinct through woven form and meditative craft and is on display daily from breakfast, through lunch and late into the starry night.
De Laforcade’s hand-loomed works channel the rawness of ancient traditions, shaped by her nomadic past and the natural rhythms of island life. Carr, a Central Saint Martins graduate and former apprentice of De Laforcade, blends Nordic restraint with Balearic earthiness. Together, their tactile, fibre-based pieces speak softly but powerfully, a quiet tribute to the island and the beauty of working by hand. Exhibition runs until the end of September – the perfect reason to take a road trip to San Juan this summer.
