A season to savour at W Ibiza
The sleek and stylish Santa Eulalia resort has officially reopened its doors for a season packed with fun, flair and flavour.
The sun is shining, the weather is sweet and now the first wave of opening parties is out of the way, it’s time to get on with the business of enjoying the new summer season in Ibiza. On the east coast of the island, the Santa Eulalia seaside promenade is buzzing with anticipation as the famous W Ibiza has reopened its doors for another season of fun, flair and flavour. Behind the scenes, the team have been busy putting the finishing touches on a host of exciting new concepts and details in preparation for the influx of new guests and visitors arriving this week, this month and beyond.
In pride of place on the promenade, with panoramic sea views, the iconic hotel is instantly recognisable thanks to its colourful façade and unique v-shaped design. Taking its cues from the buzzing social energy of NYC (where the pioneering hospitality brand was conceived) and adding a Balearic twist, W Ibiza makes the ideal holiday home base for discerning modern travellers and lovers of luxury alike. In exciting news for animal lovers travelling to the island with their furry friends, W Ibiza is also a pet-friendly property, meaning absolutely everyone and their dog (quite literally) are welcome here.

There are 116 light-filled rooms and 38 luxurious suites at W Ibiza, each decked out in a palette of rich turquoise, sea blue, sandy yellow, bright gold and burnt orange – shades inspired by the hazy hues of an Ibiza summer. Expect all the mod cons you could wish for in a five-star hotel – plush beds, a pillow menu, luxury linens, fluffy white robes and much, much more – and for anything else you might need, you have access to the Whatever/Whenever service and the W Insider, who is on hand 24/7 to make your Ibiza dreams come true. Guests also have access to Away Spa & Fit fitness centre (also open 24 hours a day, seven days a week), plus the hotel’s two swimming pools, and eight wining and dining outlets. It would be easy to check into W Ibiza and never leave!
One of the highlights for 2025 is the hotel’s very own beach club, Yellow Fish Beach Club, set right on the sand just a few steps away from W Ibiza – the only luxury resort in Santa Eulalia to feature direct beach access. Opening its doors on May 16, 2025, the chic beach restaurant boasts rows of luxe, beachfront sunbeds, a cute cabana style bar and a beautiful, shaded terrace with magical Mediterranean views. The main menu is centred around the freshest and finest local fish and shellfish, prepared in a variety of different ways, from Andalusian-style calamari and bluefin tuna belly carpaccio to carabineros with grilled leeks, catch of the day cooked over the wood-fire grill and the ultra-indulgent mixed seafood grill, which includes clams, razor clams, monkfish, mussels, calamari and seasonal veggies.

Out on the Yellow Fish Beach Club chill-out terrace, guests can order from the menu of sharing plates while sipping on sangria, bespoke cocktails such as the Salty Sailor and the Tiki Eularia; or delicious drops chosen from the extensive wine list. Tuck into tasty morsels like umami oysters, tuna mini-burgers, cod croquettes and the very best Cantabrian anchovies while gazing out to sea, and then, as the day turns into night, tap your toes to live music courtesy of DJs and local musicians who blend Mediterranean electronic beats with live instrumentation on the fly. Open to the public in addition to hotel guests, Yellow Fish Beach Club at W Ibiza is open for lunch from 11am daily, with evening dinner service beginning in early June.
Back inside the resort, resident DJs spin the afternoon soundtrack to your poolside experience at WET Deck (from 12.30pm to 4.30pm) while up on the rooftop, guests can sip craft cocktails and soak up the sun’s rays by the infinity pool at Glow Bar from 11am until 7pm. With breathtaking 360-degree views over the sea and across the mountains, the exclusive space is kitted out with peaceful Balinese beds and stylish sun loungers and feels like a sky-high hidden gem while the beach and promenade are bustling with high season foot traffic down below. In high season (June, July and August) as the sun begins to set, the pace picks up with special events such as mezcal masterclasses and Sotol pairings hosted exclusively for guests of W Ibiza, plus a dinner service (until 11pm) that includes a live sushi cooking station.
No summer holiday is complete without a pizza night and with the world-famous SEU Pizza taking up residence at STEPS at W Ibiza, the options for an Italian feast are plentiful. Open daily from 11am to midnight, SEU Pizza @ STEPS is adjacent to the hotel complex and welcomes one and all to sample its tasty wares all summer long. A sister restaurant to the SEU Pizza in Rome’s popular Trastevere neighbourhood, where chef Daniele Seu’s pizzas have been voted among the world’s 10 best pizzas by 50 Top Pizza, the Santa Eulalia outpost is every bit as fun and flavourful as the flagship venue. So good in fact, that due to popular demand, the restaurant now offers a delivery service within the Santa Eulalia area.
Whether you’re planning on savouring your favourite SEU Pizza dishes on the beach, in your own home, at your holiday villa or on the restaurant’s unique tiered terrace overlooking Santa Eulalia, the biggest challenge you’ll face is deciding what to order. From pizza classics like margherita and parmigiana to the unforgettable ‘Ibiza XXX’, topped with an impressive combo of ‘nduja, spicy chorizo, stracciatella, habanero jam, mint and olive dust, there are endless dough-based options, in addition to mouth-watering homemade pasta, antipasti, cicchetti and good old-fashioned Italian desserts.
Things are definitely heating up in Santa Eulalia, and now W Ibiza has thrown open its doors, the summer season is in full swing. With quintessential beach dining experiences at Yellow Fish Beach Club, glamorous rooftop sushi and sunset sessions at Glow Bar & Infinity Pool and fun feasting at SEU Pizza @ STEPS, there’s plenty of delicious reasons for island residents to get in on the W Ibiza action, while hotel guests can sleep easy knowing they’ve got the very best of Ibiza right on their holiday doorstep.
