Tucked away just behind the picturesque village square in Santa Gertrudis, Finca La Plaza is the kind of Ibiza fine dining restaurant that rewards the epicurious with heavenly dishes served in a truly magical setting. Slip through a weathered wooden gate into the centuries-old finca to discover a festoon-lit courtyard oasis, where citrus trees sway overhead as music and smoky aromas drift softly through the warm night air. With all the charm of a fabled secret garden, this gastronomic gem also happens to serve some of the very best food on the island.

Island Hospitality Group, the team behind Finca La Plaza, takes the slow food philosophy seriously and the culinary results at this Ibiza fine dining restaurant are mouthwatering testaments to their dedication. Around 80% of ingredients are sourced from local farms and producers, with Group F&B Director Gennaro Vitto and Executive Chef Sergio Cardeñosa at the helm of an ever-evolving menu. Classic Mediterranean recipes are given bold twists and cooked over open flame, smoked or fermented for maximum flavour.

Try harissa-dipped spinach croquettes, acorn-fed jamón Ibérico and charcoal-grilled Galician clams to start, followed by hearty options like fettucine or gnocchi Alfredo with truffle. Then, there’s a whole host of goodness sizzling on the grill, like juicy Carabinero prawns; langoustines with Ibizan lemon zest; whole sea bass with cherry tomato vinaigrette; coquelet chicken from Tarragona, succulent Wagyu and more – every dish at Finca La Plaza arrives with an abundance of confidence and flair.

Vegetarians and vegans are exceptionally well catered for at Finca La Plaza, starting with Roman-style artichoke with truffle sabayon; asparagus, bimi and broccoli with orange and tahini; and classic escalivada, with mains including a rich meloso rice with artichokes and seasonal vegetables. Those in search of something truly indulgent should go straight to the ‘La Finca’ house specials, where Oscietra caviar-topped payés egg and Ibizan sour potato vies for attention alongside grilled octopus with citrus and coriander, crispy slow-cooked Segovian suckling pig (you’ll need to pre-order from the Ibiza fine dining restaurant 48 hours in advance) and the impressive Solomillo Wellington.

Live music returns to Finca La Plaza for the 2025 season, with a rotating roster of performances every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Each night at this Ibiza fine dining restaurant brings a different musical flavour, from global sounds with Juan Calero and contemporary flamenco by Querencia Dúo to Balearic fusion by Tupac Peralta and Ibiza Balearic SoundClash. It’s the perfect sonic pairing to an evening spent sipping cocktails beneath the palm trees while debriefing the day’s adventures.

Speaking of drinks, the wine cellar at Finca La Plaza is among the most impressive in Ibiza, boasting over 500 labels including rare vintages from Spain, France and Italy. Meanwhile, the cocktail list is handled with the same level of precision and flair as the kitchen – think pisco and hibiscus infusions, grapefruit oil, citrus foams and botanicals served in elegant glassware with organic flourishes. A must-visit destination on Ibiza’s gastronomic map, an evening at Finca La Plaza is Ibiza fine dining at its most deliciously discreet.
