Ushuaïa Ibiza

Hyperbole is often thrown about like sand in Ibiza but there’s not a hint of exaggeration when we say that Ushuaïa Ibiza changed the face of Ibiza clubbing. One of the defining beach clubs in the island’s history, or any club for that matter, this venue became the blueprint for daytime partying on the white isle when it launched in 2011, and it’s been leading the pack musically and atmospherically ever since. Every party here feels like a festival, albeit one that takes place every single day of the week – an alfresco clubbing experience that no visitor to the island should miss.

Located in Playa d’en Bossa, the Ibiza clubbing hub of the island, Ushuaïa Ibiza has a unique beachfront setting, offering luxury accommodation, multiple restaurants to relax and dine at, and of course, one of the most famous dance floors on the island. The majority of parties take place in front of the venue’s incredible outdoor stage between the hours of 5pm and 11pm, all of which are legendary for off-the-chart production featuring lasers, fire machines, acrobatics and a whole host of other gadgets and gimmicks designed to blow your tiny clubbing minds.

There’s also a picture-perfect swimming pool to dance around, and of course, a dedicated VIP area — Ushuaïa Ibiza was one of the very first venues to usher in exclusive access for VIPs, for whom champagne flows freely once you’re beyond the velvet rope. We recommend getting there early, because although the party vibe ramps once the sun has set, this is one of the only places on the island to see huge, international DJs perform during the daytime, and that’s an Ibiza clubbing moment that everyone should experience.

Anyone still on the fence — and it’s unlikely at this point — will be certified evangelists as soon as they lay eyes on the Ushuaïa Ibiza line-ups. In no particular order, this summer the Playa d’en Bossa venue is home to superstar names including Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, David Guetta and more. So, if you like your tunes with an EDM slant, this is the Ibiza clubbing venue for you. Anyone more inclined to techno should check out ANTS, the super successful Saturday party.
