Weekends in January see über cool, Santa Gertrudis eatery, Overall, present The Sando Golden Hour, an adventure into Katsu Sando, à la carte plates, expertly crafted cocktails and some seriously retro vinyl sets. The night centres on one of Japan’s best-known sandwiches, featuring layers of fresh and flavour-filled ingredients all wrapped in pillowy slices of Japanese milk bread.
Definitely a night where you’re never quite sure where it will take you – it’s all about going with the flow in these golden hours. There’s no set menu, just the freshest seasonal produce hustled up – in the expertly curated Overall style, of course – into delicious dishes for the à la carte menu, and unique drink pairings to get you prepped for some low-key bump and hustle to the vinyl only playlist playing on the 70s HiFi system.
