Global superstar Francis Mercier presents Solèy at Hï Ibiza this summer – a string of weekly parties that are a musical soup of sounds with some dashes of flavour from Africa to the Caribbean. This debut residency promises to be a whole new chapter for the venue that has been voted The World’s Number One Club four times.
Solèy means sun in Haitian Creole and what better place to show case the talents of this sonic connector than the sunshine capital of sound, Ibiza? With DJ sets interwoven with the live sounds of guitar and djembe, this promises to be a multi-cultural expression of how to party on a global scale. Expect a night that blends Mercier’s African and Caribbean roots with Arabic, Latin and European influences, plus the kind of off-the-scale production evocative of this Playa d’en Bossa club. This week’s line-up features Francis Mercier B2B Sparrow, Alex Wann and Ed’N’Ray in The Theatre, and Andrea Oliva, Henrik Schwarz (live) and Argia in the Club Room and is set to be a sellout.
