Roll up your sleeves and spend a summer morning doing something genuinely good for the island. On Saturday 20 June, Ibiza & Formentera Preservation and Ibiza Produce are inviting nature lovers to help create a spectacular butterfly-shaped garden designed to support Ibiza’s precious pollinators.
From 10am to 1pm, volunteers will plant more than 500 aromatic plants that include lavender, rosemary, thyme, sage, santolina, fennel and parsley, all chosen to provide food and shelter for butterflies and other pollinating insects. It will be a hands-on morning of conservation in action and a chance to contribute to local biodiversity, learn about the vital role pollinators play in healthy ecosystems and connect with like-minded people who care about the island’s natural world. Places to help create the Butterfly Garden with Ibiza & Formentera Preservation and Ibiza Produc are limited and prior booking is essential, email info@ibizaproduce.org to register and the exact location will be shared once your place is confirmed.
