High in the hills above San Antonio, housed within a stunning 16th century chapel, sits one of the island’s most iconic fine dining destinations – a venue that has been a pillar of Ibiza’s culinary scene since 1978. As the clock strikes midnight on Tuesday December 31, 2024, diners at Sa Capella will continue the long-standing tradition of ringing in the new year within the beautifully restored restaurant, welcoming 2025 with family and friends over an unforgettable culinary feast.
Places are limited at Sa Capella on New Year’s Eve, so be sure to book your table early. The set menu is 260€ per person (excluding drinks) and the meal begins with an aperitivo of beef shank consommé and seasonal mushrooms with egg yolk and melanosporum truffle, followed by a choice of cappelletti with grilled tear peas and tendon, or grilled scallop with beurre blanc, to start. For the main course, choose between a delectable Josper-grilled wild sea bass with spinach and pil pil sauce or the mouth-wateringly delicious slow-cooked lamb shank, served straight out of the restaurant’s famous wood-fired oven, both with grilled seasonal veggies on the side. As the clock moves slowly towards the new year, there’s still time for dessert – panettone tiramisu or puro chocolate – before toasting 2025 and heading out into the Ibiza night.
