The sushi maestros from fresh and exciting restaurant Kanpai Ibiza spend their summers serving Japanese fusion fare and cocktails in the far north of Ibiza, on the seafront of Portinatx, with the occasional foray to a rooftop in town. This winter, however, the team heads south to renowned winter hotspot, Café Montesol at Experimental Montesol where they’ll be offering their contemporary East-Asian flavours to island urbanites and city visitors every Friday and Saturday evening.
From 7pm, watch the world go by on the heated terrace – or settle into a cosy booth or table inside – and sample some of the island’s best bites, from innovative sushi rolls made with seasonal island produce to traditional cuts of sashimi made with local fish or a selection of poke bowls. Pair with a craft cocktail to match, and you’ve got the perfect start to a Friday or Saturday night on the town. Reservations recommended.
