The Sunrice at The Beach, Unexpected Ibiza
The Beach, Unexpected Ibiza added another layer to its culinary repertoire this season with THE SUNRICE – a laid-back monthly lunch experience dedicated to Spain’s most beloved dish. Set on the golden sands of Playa d’en Bossa, the final gastronomic showcooking event of the season kicks off at 1pm on Friday October 10, 2025 on the beach-facing terrace, where mellow beats float through the air and a series of starters are served. Then, the roster of in-house chefs takes turns manning the pans, preparing a selection of traditional and not-so-traditional rice dishes live, which are offered to guests in tasting-size portions throughout the afternoon.
Expect a relaxed crowd, excellent food, a rotating DJ soundtrack and the same stylish service that has made The Beach, Unexpected Ibiza a go-to in this corner of the island. The full tasting menu (including starters, all paella variations and a sweet dessert surprise) is priced at 45€ per person plus a 10€ donation to NGO World Central Kitchen to raise funds for those affected by the DANA storms in Valencia. Optional drinks pairing are available for 20€, including wine, beer, soft drinks and water and additional drinks by Volcan, and there’s also the opportunity to pop in for Solidarity Happy Hour, where you can snap up a rice tapa plus a beer or wine for 10€ plus a 5€ charitable donation.
