Temporal Layers Exhibition Opening At Estudio Laterna
Spring is in the air in Santa Gertrudis and to celebrate, stunning gallery and concept space Estudio Laterna is hosting a special event on Wednesday March 19, 2025 to launch its latest exhibition, Temporal Layers. A deep dive into photography’s love-hate relationship with time, the exhibition features the works of photographers Miguel Soler-Roig, Houshyar Kashani and Emile Durrer-Gasse, alongside an installation by conceptual artist Martina Moscariello in collaboration with Aurea Floral Studio.
Wander through the gallery and take in the striking photography – pieces that don’t just preserve moments in time; rather, they unearth memories, question permanence and embrace the beauty of imperfection through the use of film, raw textures and black-and-white compositions. Some images hold echoes of the past, others dissolve right before your eyes, but all of them invite you to see photography, and time itself, not as something to be captured, but as something constantly unfolding.
