Protagonistes Screening at Cine Regio
San Antonio will be red carpet ready this Sunday February 02, 2025 at 11am, when the Cine Regio premier of Protagonistes opens at the beautifully restored cinema in the west coast town’s back streets. This real-life documentary about the Ibiza Inclusion Fashion Show – screened with English subtitles – is directed by Luis Calero and has been touring the national film festival circuit picking up awards since late last year, including Best Documentary at the Mallorca International Film Festival. It’s now time to return home for a debut screening in Ibiza.
Following the stories of a collection of children and young adults with functional diversity from the island as they prepare to become models in the annual event, the heart-warming and compassionate portrayal of its subjects and their families has received rave reviews alongside the outstanding and charming performances from the youngsters as they approach the impeding fashion show.
