Minami Enkai at Minami Japanese Restaurant
Once a month, the sleek and sophisticated fine-dining hub, Minami Japanese Restaurant, at Ushuaïa Ibiza hosts Minami Enkai – a curated chef’s menu experience that celebrates precision, flavour and finesse. Across a finely tuned (and very extensive) series of small plates, guests are taken on a journey through Japan via Ibiza, with nods to Nikkei influences and Iberian touches.
To start, you’ll nibble on light bites such as spicy edamame; miso and wonton soup; duck spring rolls with date teriyaki and free-range chicken gua bao with gochujang and pickles. The sashimi tasting comes next, with an array of silky pieces that have been sliced and diced to order, including chutoro, salmon, hamachi and seabass usuzukuri, before the sushi tasting begins. From salmon aburi with lime and quail egg nigiri with truffle sauce to foie-topped kabayaki eel and the taste-sensational hot tempura futomaki, this is a true feast for the senses. Just be sure to save room for the sweet surprise finale!
The tasting menu is 40€ per person and for an additional 25€, you can add a curated drinks pairing that includes soft drinks, wine, beer and a welcome glass of Möet & Chandon. A stylish and accessible way to dine right behind the main stage of the iconic beach club, the next Minami Enkai takes place on Tuesday May 20, 2025, and there are two seatings available: 8pm or the very Spanish dinner time of 10pm.
