From the moment he arrived on the island in 1976, the Argentinian visionary carved out a style all his own, blending genres, defying formulas and igniting what would later be known around the world as the Balearic Beat. By the time his iconic Amnesia residency rolled around in 1984, Ibiza nights were forever changed.

This April, as the International Music Summit returns, Las Dalias and Akasha Ibiza honour the man behind the movement with Love Groove Night – a 12-hour sonic tribute curated by Fiorito Space Systems and IMS. Expect a very danceable voyage that channels the freewheeling spirit of Alfredo’s era, from early evening garden vibes to the heady intimacy of the Akasha Ibiza dancefloor, the line-up is packed with island regulars and Balearic torchbearers – including Alfredo’s son, Jaime Fiorito, plus Terry Farley, Nancy Noise, Homies and more.
