Things are getting gloriously ghoulish at Paradise Lost Ibiza when the clock strikes November this weekend, as Dave of the Dead (known to his buddies as David Phillips) faces off with Bekka Raw Tings (For The Record’s Bekka Rawkins) for a Día de Muertos weekend showdown behind the decks that might even be reminiscent of those old school Boutique Hostal Salinas vibes these two partners in crime were a big part of. Ibiza’s real party people know that ‘Halloween’ really only gets started the day after!
From 7pm, Captain Jimmy kicks open the creaky ofd wooden doors to his old town rum emporium while the devilish DJ duo turn up the volume with back-to-back sets all night long, spooky rhythms and plenty of Samhain shenanigans. Expect a soundtrack that swings from dark disco to dubby house, laced with Paradise Lost’s trademark madness and a few monstrous surprises, plus just the right mix of wild energy and cheeky charm from the island’s favourite haunt.
