Tucked away in the old fishermen’s quarter of Sa Penya in Ibiza town, Paradise Lost is where late-night island magic (and madness) takes shape beneath the bar’s signature glowing pink neon and in the cosy interior – found up a cobbled staircase, on the corner of a terrace, like the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. .
From 9pm, this tiny den of rum, revelry and mischief turns into a playground of cocktails and frisky fun, with a rolling roster of special guest DJs slipping behind the decks, with this week’s special guests Dicky Trisco and Ricky Meakin providing the soundscape. Expect the unexpected, from Balearic blends to disco oddities and rare grooves, in a room where locals, islanders and in-the-know visitors cross paths.
Meanwhile, behind the bar, Captain Jimmy, Monsieur Martin and the one and only Sausage Girl keep the party lubricated with potent mixes and sharp banter that tumbles deep into the early hours.
