There’s a certain light at a certain time of year in the Mediterranean that has inspired artists and writers for centuries – that magical period of the afternoon after the heat of the day has dispersed and the sun bathes Ibiza in a golden glow. This Sunday, On The Rocks at The Beach Caves at Six Senses Ibiza holds its Season Farewell, with an afternoon and evening dappled in this beautiful Balearic halo.
From 12.30pm, executive chef Andrés Fernández presents a delicious Latin American set menu with tunes from island favourite Louie Lion, before the soulful sounds of live guitar and rhythmic drums carry the afternoon through to sunset accompanied with the Spanish tradition of tardeo snacks. Lunch, tardeo and sunset cost 150€ per person, or tardeo and sunset for 45€, with both options including a welcome glass of Veuve Clicquot. Reservations are essential.
