A slice of serenity – Casa Club
This hidden gem restaurant on the cusp of Ibiza’s only golf course is quickly becoming the must-visit hangout of the year.
To those who know Ibiza by reputation only, the idea of living the slow life on the white isle seems improbable – perhaps even impossible. Dig just beneath the island’s buzzing, main character energy, however, and you’ll find a lifestyle that beats in a gentler way; one that locals and travellers-in-the-know may, at times, feel inclined to keep to themselves. At Casa Club, the stylish new restaurant on the cusp of Ibiza’s only golf course, this slower pace is beautifully translated through laid-back luxe vibes, seasonal Spanish cuisine and a sense of serenity that only comes from knowing you’re exactly where you’re meant to be…

Pull up a chair. Peruse the menu in your own time. Sip that first cocktail slowly – and perhaps order a second. Soak in the views of the manicured fairways and the surrounding rural hills. There’s absolutely no rush here. In fact, slowing down and savouring the moment – and the food – is the whole point. Housed in a beautifully refurbished space that was once considered Ibiza’s original clubhouse, arriving at Casa Club feels like stepping into a peaceful oasis where time trickles by and daily stresses are left at the door.
Born from the creative minds of the team behind Casa Linda, Cala Bonita and Jardines de Palerm, the vision for Casa Club was to capture the essence of the Mediterranean. Light terracotta and sandstone walls complement the sandy-hued terrace, where rows of parasols and stunning mulberry trees cast shade over mosaic and wooden tables. Fresh air flows through the light and breezy interior thanks to retracting windows that create a seamless flow from inside to out, comfy sofas are ideal for postprandial conversations, and fascinating art curated by local gallery House of Soleille create plenty of talking points.

Early risers can start their mornings with wholesome breakfast – think juices squeezed to order, freshly brewed coffee, granola bowls with seasonal fruit and yoghurt and more. Whether you’re checking your emails, reading a book, scrolling through Instagram or simply enjoying the tranquil atmosphere at Casa Club, it’s the perfect way to start the day. As the sun starts to climb higher in the sky, the menu switches to the seasonal, Spanish-influenced offerings – but first, cocktails. Order a traditional jarra de sangria for the table, or sip on a classic Margarita or Gin Basil Smash, or skip the alcohol and opt for a Golfer Mocktail made with fresh grapefruit or the organic cherry kombucha.
As seasoned golfers pass by and mini champions-to-be attend their lessons on the putting green further, the lunchtime buzz at Casa Club begins to build with a mix of neighbours, island residents and travelling foodies flowing through the doors. Order a round of snacks for the table, starting with pan con tomate or homemade sourdough with aioli. A plate of traditional gildas are a must, and it’s hard to resist the golden house-made croquetas, or the anchovies with vinegar, parsley and garlic. The crispy battered calamari with house tartare sauce is finger-licking good, while the caramelised chorizo served with butter beans and tomato is equally as moreish.
For those looking for fresh, summery mains, the Casa Club menu boasts three flavourful salads: a Caesar, the traditional Payesa made with tuna belly, tomato, potato, peppers, black olives and crunchy croutons, plus a seasonal salad prepped with Belgian endive, rocket, roasted sweet potato, crumbled feta cheese and topped with a sprinkling of toasted seeds. Those with heartier appetites can tuck into flavour-packed rice dishes like the slow-cooked red prawn rice or squid ink option packed with tender octopus and smoky sobrasada. For something on the more traditional side, the fideuà comes highly recommended, served in a tray bubbling with toasted vermicelli, cooked in seafood stock and served with baby squid and crispy pork crackling.
Meat eaters will adore the cuts fired up on the Casa Club grill, such as the rib-eye steak with red peppers, served with homemade chimichurri; a corn-fed, free-range chicken marinated in butter and sage; and the restaurant’s speciality, grilled sea bass in Agua de Lourdes sauce; ideal for sharing with two or more friends. There’s also a classic Milanese topped with capers and a deliciously tangy slice of lemon, and of course, no clubhouse (or clubhouse-style restaurant, in this case!) would be complete without a good old-fashioned hamburger – the hearty Casa Club version is served with a side of hand-cut fries.

Open all year round (with a lovely fireplace perfect for when the cool season finally arrives), from 8am to 8pm, plus every Saturday night throughout August 2026 for a special dinner service, Casa Club ticks all the right boxes: a secluded location, the freshest produce, authentic flavours, welcoming hospitality and a laid-back ambience. Over the course of a day here, families trickle into the courtyard for holiday meals; groups of friends settle in for celebratory moments; couples arrive to laze for a few romantic hours off-the-grid; and solo diners lounge about with a book in one hand and a coffee or a cocktail in the other. Everyone may be different but one thing is for sure: they all know how (and where) to embrace the slow life in Ibiza.
