After taking a very short break at the beginning of the year, stunning Ibiza town entertainment venue, Teatro Pereyra, reopens on Sunday January 19, 2025 with a special concert from two exceptional musicians. Renowned flautist André Cebrián (Principal Flute of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra) and Pedro Mateo González, guitar soloist with ORTVE (Spanish National Radio and TV Orchestra) perform works from their new album Cartografía Del Mar, traversing musical styles, centuries throughout time and eclectic compositions in a 75-minute concert from 7pm.
After meeting over a decade ago as teachers at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón, the artistic duo have played and created together while exploring a whole range of soundscapes. Within the stunning surrounds of the iconic Ibiza theatre, this show will include works from composers such as Astor Piazzolla, Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Toru Takemitsu, Robert Beaser, Leo Brouwer and Feliu Gasull, with a magical selection that unites tradition and innovation, just like Teatro Pereyra itself. Doors open at 6pm for this event, and general tickets are priced between 15€ and 23€.
