Anna Claire – founder of Anna Claire Weddings – first enters a bride (or groom’s) life as a hair and make-up artist, but within minutes of settling them into her chair, she reveals herself as the kind of friend you instantly wish you had. She thrives on the intimacy and trust of bridal work: the hours spent meticulously preparing someone for the happiest (and most photographed) day of their life, rewarded by the simple yet profound joy of watching her clients realise their true beauty.

A seasoned make-up artist with a background in fashion, Anna honed her craft in London and Manchester. The white island was calling however, and after travelling back and forth to beautify brides for over a decade, she relocated permanently in 2018, officially launching Anna Claire Weddings. Today, she is one of the most sought-after artists in Ibiza, bringing not only her creative skills but also a comforting presence and gentle guidance to the big day.

Some brides arrive with Pinterest boards or vague ideas; others are blank canvases, while Anna draws her own inspiration from cinema, bridal magazines, Instagram, high fashion and even nature. Every trial session is treated as a collaboration: she intuitively guides clients toward looks that suit their style, knowing exactly when to step in, whether that’s to tweak brows or lashes to complement the face, or to keep the bridal party on schedule while the champagne flows. Trained in Reiki and highly attuned to everything going on around her, Anna handles last-minute requests and unexpected surprises – blemishes, bruises, or tricky timing – with calm expertise, ensuring flawless results all round.

Anna’s approach to make-up is meticulous yet understated. Passionate about skin, she advises brides on preparation and has even created her own skincare line, knowing how essential a radiant base is for that coveted ‘glow from within’. Her philosophy is all about enhancement: bringing out each client’s best features to create the most beautiful version of themselves. From soft, luminous skin to subtle eye detail, her signature style prioritises natural, timeless looks tailored to the bride’s personality, dress, flowers and wedding palette.

Products are central to her craft and Anna chooses only those that elevate the skin. Favourites include Fenty, Charlotte Tilbury and Victoria Beckham – all selected for how they enhance natural radiance, melt into the skin and suit every tone and texture. Hair styling also falls under the Anna Claire Weddings umbrella: while make-up remains her primary focus, she’s also skilled in the all-important up-do. For larger weddings, she enlists a trusted team of hair specialists to ensure the full glam session runs smoothly.
