Thanksgiving at Overall
Mónica A. Patiño and Jorge A. Conde – the creative culinary duo behind family run Santa Gertrudis dining destination Overall – invite island foodies to come together tonight and celebrate the traditional American holiday of Thanksgiving with a unique Ibiza twist. Whether you’re dining solo, on a date or with a group, there are just 20 places at the table so reservations are essential for the impressive eight-course menu, priced at 150€ per person.
Start with a winter-warming veggie broth with assorted mushrooms and sake lees, served with toasted xeixa and carob sourdough from local bakers Es Brot, topped with confit garlic butter, creme fraiche, chives and citric zest, wild mackerel bresoala and pickles. Once you’re settled in, you’ll tuck into mouth-watering lobster rolls cooked in butter and aromatic herbs; smoked trout with Galician mussel gremolata and fresh truffle; wild white fish crudo; and coal-kissed wild bonito with pumpkin vinaigrette before moving onto the main course masterpiece: a three-wood, slow-smoked turkey served with mashed potato, local vegetables, roast stuffing, berry sauce and gravy. Lovers of tradition will be pleased to know the Overall Thanksgiving feast finishes with pecan pie with bourbon, dates and sea salt – something to be truly thankful for!
