Pizzeria Adiós brings the rich tradition of Neapolitan pizza to the lively streets of the La Marina district in Ibiza town. This hip new hotspot boasts a menu filled with authentic Italian character, warm hospitality and stunning views of Dalt Vila‘s ancient ramparts and walls. Located directly in front of the vibrant old market (Mercat Vell), there couldn’t be a better spot to watch the theatre of Ibiza street life unfold than the Ibiza restaurant’s terrace, while dining on the freshest, most bona fide Italian dishes this side of Naples.

Decked out in a very particular shade of baby blue – an homage to Maradona and his legendary number 10 jersey – the Ibiza restaurant bursts with Napoli spirit and passion. The buzzing Pizzeria Adiós terrace is like a revolving door of locals and tourists alike during the hum of the Ibiza summer, while its interiors showcase a symphony of soft blond wood panelling and splashes of azure that create a cosy, bright and inviting atmosphere on cooler days and nights. As the heady scent of fresh herbs, ripe tomatoes, and sweet garlic fills the air, you’re instantly enveloped in the essence of Italy.

The culinary offerings at Pizzeria Adiós are as extensive as they are mouth-watering, with an impressive selection of Italian wines to match. Start with a selection of Neapolitan tapas that includes frittatina di pasta with creamy bechamel, jamón york, peas and oozy provoleta, or the must-try fried mozzarella en carrozza. The Ibiza restaurant prepares its pizzas in typical Napoli style, measuring no more than 35 centimetres in diameter with a raised edge – the factor that delivers the famous, oh-so-moreish crusts the region is known for.

Classic Italian ingredients like San Marzano tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella are the stars of the show, and two pages of the Pizzeria Adiós menu are dedicated entirely to pizza. From the bar-raising margherita; the salty and savoury Napoli (tomato, mozzarella, capers and anchovies) and the classic spicy Diavola, to a delectably indulgent black truffle pizza; a four-cheese option that blends Grana Padano DOP, gorgonzola, mozzarella and smoked scarmorza; and the melt-in-your-mouth Mortadella with burrata, mozzarella and pistachios,  diners at this Ibiza restaurant are spoilt for choice.

For less carb-heavy bites, try the carpaccio of vegetables with pesto and almond slices or choose something from the Ibiza restaurant’s ‘super salad’ menu – whether a traditional caprese, or a Cántabrico Niçoise with crunchy green beans, olive, egg and cherry tomatoes, there’s something for all appetites. Satisfy your sweet tooth with tiramisu de la casa (which has also been reimagined in vegan form) or a richly smooth, classic pannacotta. And of course, no Italian feast at Pizzeria Adiós is complete without a glass of zesty limoncello followed by a spirit-rousing cup of steaming espresso to send you off into the Ibiza day or night. The name (also a tribute to the football great) may translate to goodbye, but the menu is guaranteed to see you return pronto!
