The annual Fira des Gerret D’Eivissa takes place on Saturday March 07, 2026, in the heart of Santa Eulalia, with around 30 of the island’s finest eateries rustling up innovative recipes with a seasonal fishy delight: the gerret. The festival starts at midday as a whopping 1,200 kilos of the tasty treat is brought in by the fishing guilds of San Antonio and Santa Eulalia, and delivered to a myriad of awaiting chefs ready to concoct unique gastronomic plates promoting one of Ibiza’s best-loved ingredients.

Spend the lazy afternoon browsing and nibbling the humble gerret, cooked in both traditional and inventive ways, as a panel of expert judges pick their favourite bites. In addition to some seriously scrumptious snacks, there will be three stages with live music, children’s activities and workshops as well as the final ritual of brulada de corn (burning the corn) and some traditional Ibicencan folk dancing (balls pagès). a day that is filled with pure island heritage.
