Take a Salt Walk with Ses Dotze Naus Foundation at Ses Salines
The latest edition of Ses Dotze Naus Foundation’s annual residency opens with a series of public activities. From 11.30am to 1.30pm on Saturday December 06, 2025, resident artist and multidisciplinary creator Diogo da Cruz hosts Take a Salt Walk. Developed from his research into the layers of life and memory embedded in Ibiza’s coastal landscapes, this guided excursion through the salt flats of Ses Salines demonstrates how this crystalline archive contains traces of ancient seas, human labour and shifting environmental rhythms.
Encompassing narration, sound and reflection, Take a Salt Walk encourages an exploration of the textures and cadences of the terrain while considering the cycles of extraction, human histories and the pressures of contemporary tourism. Part performance, part amble through extraordinary scenery, guests will leave with an even deeper respect for the island’s place in the cultural landscape.
