Editor's tip

Be sure to catch the island's original LGBTQI+ party, La Troya, on Mondays, where iconic meets the future.

Club Chinois created quite the buzz when it opened in the glitzy surrounds of Ibiza Marina, largely thanks to decadent interiors and the reputation of its famed sister venue, located in London’s swanky borough of Mayfair. But since then the Ibiza club has made a name for itself thanks to top notch residencies, surprising guests and a stylish, international crowd. Accessed via the ground of the five-star Ibiza Gran Hotel, the sumptuous club is the perfect addition to the luxe port setting.

The venue – formerly known as HEART Ibiza – had a top to bottom refurbishment courtesy of award-winning Parisian design studio, Laleh Assefi before re-opening in 2022. So visitors can expect opulent interiors with lush textiles, golden sculpted columns, elaborate wall art and steely granite floors, all of which celebrates the distinctive meeting point between eastern and western cultures. There’s a nod to Ibiza clubbing history too, ensuring that the carefully curated ambience radiates vibrancy and energy. Promising sensory surprises around every corner, Club Chinois is a truly immersive nightlife experience.

Revellers can expect nightly jaw-dropping performances from a slew of top international DJs, as well as an expertly curated weekly agenda. La Troya, the famous LGBTQIA+ friendly party that’s famed for awe-inspiring visuals and extravagant productions has found a home at the Ibiza club on Monday nights; techno temptress Ida Engberg takes the Tuesday slot with signature party, Mystik; Pablo Fierro brings a global soundscape to Club Chinois on Fridays; and star of the moment Franky Wah presents SHÈN Ibiza on Sunday nights, welcoming fellow big names like Sasha & John Pigweed, Yotto, Pete Tong and Nora En Pure.

Sets are accompanied by impressive acrobatics and with every inch of space at the Ibiza club designed to act as a stage, expect to get up close and personal with a talented ensemble who’ll leave an imprint on the mind long after you’ve left the club. Another jewel in the Island Hospitality crown (alongside Mikasa, Beachouse and Finca La Plaza), this dazzling venue has shaken up the Ibiza clubbing scene with its 1920s Shanghai-inspired revelry and world-renowned gastronomy. Fortunately for locals, it’s also open all year round.
