SUMMARY:Altar de Muertos at Salon San Miguel
DESCRIPTION:For a celebration that honours life as much as it remembers those who have passed\, head to San Miguel on Sunday November 01\, 2026\, where Salón San Miguel marks its first anniversary on the hillside with Altar de Muertos: an afternoon and evening dedicated to the Mexican tradition of Día de Muertos. \nWhether you’re arriving fresh from a Halloween get-together\, or have slept like a daisy\, it’s all about flowers\, candlelight\, music and Mexican spirit on this auspicious occasion. The warm and welcoming restaurant team invite guests to come together around a communal altar\, celebrating the lives and memories of loved ones no longer here. Guests are welcome to bring a photograph of someone they wish to remember and place it on the altar\, adding their own tribute to this shared celebration of remembrance. \nThe soiree takes place from 4pm until midnight\, with suitably spooky music from an eclectic line-up of local artists including Mezcaleros Baleáricos\, L.O.C.O.M.O.T.I.V.O\, LAVMUSIQ\, Duo Flipa\, Charles Bals\, Mon Blume\, Sulka DJ and Phae Alchemy. Dress is an essential part of the occasion\, with a dedicated moodboard setting the tone. There are no reservations\, with entry on a walk-in basis only.
