El Clodenis\, the gorgeous restaurant set in a charming and ancient Ibicencan house opposite the church in San Rafael\, is now open nightly from 8pm for alfresco dinners on the pretty patio and in the magical\, tree-covered garden space\, with a refined new Mexican-meets-Mediterranean gastronomic and mixology offering that’s guaranteed to keep you coming back for more. \nThe sensorial journey begins from the very first moment you step through the vine-covered entrance to El Clodenis\, where an immersive 3D visual display sets the scene for the evening ahead. Start with a bespoke cocktail from the mezcaloteque\, curated by famous Guadalajara mixologist and botanist Everado Tejeda as you peruse the menu\, inspired by ancient ingredients\, pre-Hispanic techniques and flavour fusions that transport you straight to the beaches of Yucatán and the sparkling Pacific. The culinary concept is based around the idea of a casual cevichería and a tartar bar\, where zesty and zingy ceviches\, aguachiles\, and other raw delights are ideal for hot summer nights\, while the open kitchen also grills fresh fish and meat and serves up an array of dishes that are designed to share.
