On New Year’s Eve, gather your loved ones and take a seat overlooking the luxury yachts as cosy firelight flickers across the windows of the glass-fronted restaurant, and savour the indulgent set menu for 140€ per person including drinks, a party bag and those all-important midnight grapes.
Aperitivos include Wagyu carpaccio with Mahon shavings; Josper-grilled tudela buds with tiger milk-cured sea bass and padrón peppers; and French No 2 oysters with herring roe, before a delectable starter of smoked tuna tataki with white garlic, eel, apple and foie gras. The first course is a mouth-watering Denton with carabinero cream, grilled pak choy, pine nuts and shimeji, followed by a passionfruit sorbet intermezzo to cleanse the palate before the star dish, a Simmental beef sirloin with smoked eggplant and Bordeaux sauce. Brownie drizzled with toffee nougat and vanilla Chantilly completes the culinary experience – a Happy New Year indeed.
