Tucked away in the old fishermen’s quarter of Sa Penya, Paradise Lost is where late-night island magic takes shape. From 9pm, the tiny den of rum, revelry and mischief turns into a playground of cocktails and frisky fun, with a rolling roster of special guest DJs slipping behind the decks. Expect the unexpected, from Balearic blends to disco oddities and rare grooves, in a room where locals, islanders and in-the-know visitors cross paths.
Behind the bar, Captain Jimmy, Monsieur Martin and the one and only Sausage Girl keep the party lubricated with potent mixes and sharp banter, while the DJs provide the soundtrack to nights that tumble deep into the early hours. Keep your eyes peeled for the signature glowing pink Paradise Lost neon – found up a cobbled staircase and right at the end of a set of terraces, it’s like the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.
